We set up Lauren's Pet and Pony in 2015 to provide an incredible experience for animals and owners. From small beginnings, we’ve added a whole range of services, making us a reliable choice for your animal needs. While we’re proud of our fun and easygoing attitude, our commitment to the safety and security of your pet guides everything we do.

Daycare
At Lauren’s Pet & Pony, dogs enjoy a kennel-free daycare experience on our small farm in Pepperell. Our goal is to provide a safe and enriching environment where dogs can play, explore, and relax throughout the day.

Dogs have access to plenty of outdoor space to move, sniff, and burn off energy, while also being able to come inside the home to relax and settle when they choose. Because our daycare is home-based and limited to a small number of dogs, the group naturally finds its rhythm throughout the day.

When needed, dogs can be separated to ensure everyone stays comfortable and safe.

Daycare is limited to a small number of dogs each day to keep the environment calm and personal.
Basic Care
We provide small comfort care to help keep dogs feeling their best, such as brushing or light clean-ups when needed. Each dog is handled with patience and care, and we take the time to learn what helps them feel relaxed and comfortable.

Horseback riding lessons
Lauren has over 2 decades of riding experience. Her calm aura and natural approach to both horse and rider help you reach your goals, in a happy and safe environment.
Farm Sitting
Farmers need vacations too! When you need to step out we can step in. With the knowledge and experience to care for a variety of farm animals you can rest knowing you're leaving your farm in good hands.
Pet Sitting
Not everyone is cut out for kennels. Experience working in a Veterinary Hospital gave Lauren the confidence and knowledge to care for a variety of animals. We travel locally to care for all species, including exotics.

While our primary focus is dog daycare at the farm, limited in-home pet care may be available for established clients. When Lauren’s schedule does not allow, she may also help connect clients with trusted local pet sitters who work with Lauren’s Pet & Pony.

LAUREN’S PET & PONY — DAYCARE POLICIES & INFORMATION
POLICIES AT A GLANCE
At Lauren’s Pet & Pony, we aim to provide a safe, structured, and welcoming environment where dogs can enjoy their day while owners feel confident and supported. Our policies are designed to keep routines consistent, minimize stress during busy drop-off and pick-up times, and ensure the safety of all dogs, people, and animals on our farm. We believe in clear communication, flexibility when it matters, and creating a positive experience for every member of our community.

DAYCARE HOURS
Drop-off: 7:00–9:00 AM, Monday–Friday
Pick-up: 3:00–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Scheduling outside of these hours requires advance notice and may incur additional fees. Unscheduled arrivals outside regular hours may also result in a fee.

SCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS
Daycare reservations require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel. Cancellations made with less notice may be charged for the scheduled day. We understand that unexpected situations and weather can arise — when conditions are unsafe, cancellation fees may be waived for clients who choose to reschedule. Please reach out as soon as possible if your plans change.

ARRIVAL & SAFETY PROCEDURES
For everyone’s safety and convenience, pick-up and drop-off take place at the front door.
• Dogs must arrive leashed with a secure collar or harness.
• Please wait in your vehicle or maintain a safe distance from other dogs in the driveway unless advised otherwise.
• We appreciate your help keeping pets away from landscaped areas.

WORKING FARM ENVIRONMENT
Lauren’s Pet & Pony is located on a farm. You may see free-range chickens, horses, and normal farm activity during drop-off and pick-up times. For everyone’s safety:
• Dogs must remain leashed when arriving and leaving.
• Please keep pets close and avoid landscaped or farm-use areas unless directed otherwise.
• Following arrival guidelines helps keep dogs, livestock, and visitors safe.

PACKAGES & PAYMENTS
Daycare packages are designed to offer a discount & flexibility for regular clients. Packages are applied toward attendance automatically and are non-refundable once purchased. Credits are deducted based on attendance and may be shared between dogs within the same household when applicable. Clients will be notified when packages are running low so new credits can be added without interruption to their dog’s routine.
Single-day daycare options are also available. Payment is due at the time of service or package purchase unless otherwise arranged.
